This mixed media painting was created by me using a limited palette  using  a number of tools to create interesting markmaking effects.

I was inspired to paint this  after a visit to  the queensland hinterland near Maleny and viewing a lake of water with  its  myriad of colours captured within the water and surroundings at sunset. The bright pink contrasted with the deep browns was indeed something I will never forget.
